Clinical Ethics was required reading for my Clinical Issues in Bioethics class. I had read an earlier edition of this book five years ago, and was appreciative /5. The four principles are:Respect for autonomy – the patient has the right to refuse or choose their cence – a practitioner should act in the best interest of the -maleficence – to not be the cause of harm.

Also, "Utility" - to promote more good than harmJustice – concerns the distribution of scarce health resources, and the decision of who gets what treatment.
